If you see a funeral procession (white headbands, slow walk, brass band), step aside and lower any conversations.
Don't photograph. Funerals in Vietnam are public, communal events but not tourist spectacles.
If a procession crosses your path, wait for it to pass before resuming your direction. Cutting through is deeply disrespectful.
