The 30-baht pad thai stalls on Khao San are barely Thai food. Walk 5 minutes for real meals.
Sukhumvit Soi 38, Yaowarat, or even hotel food courts will be better.
Good Khao San area exception: Thip Samai Pad Thai (5 min walk away) is genuinely excellent.
