By law, most shops in Paris close on Sundays. Boulangeries, pharmacies, and tourist-area shops are exceptions.
The Marais is the major exception — most shops there open Sunday afternoons. Champs-Élysées is also open.
Supermarkets in Le Marais, Montmartre, and tourist zones are now open Sundays till 13:00.
