The inner wholesale market moved to Toyosu, but Tsukiji Outer Market is still alive with sushi, tamagoyaki, and street food. Go at 7–9 AM.
Daiwa Sushi and Sushi Dai (now at Toyosu) have multi-hour lines. Tsukiji's outer market sushi spots are nearly as good with less wait.
Try tamagoyaki on a skewer (1,000 yen), fresh uni on a quail egg shell, and grilled scallops with butter.
